Purpose of the Program

For 45 years, the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) has been addressing this challenge by developing and encouraging growth in STEM disciplines among African American scholars. With a proven, focused approach to improving retention for African American students in engineering fields, NSBE has been a catalyst for growth and retention for Blacks in engineering around the world. Honeywell International believes that the future is what we make it. With a new vision and dedicated team of professionals and executive champions, Honeywell is focused on building upon its foundation of inclusion and diversity. Chairman and CEO Darius Adamczyk reiterated Honeywell’s commitment to diversity by stating “our people are our ultimate differentiator and having employees with diverse backgrounds, perspectives, experiences, and cultures bring a diversity of ideas that supports a high-performing environment.” The recognition of the intrinsic value of diversity in the workplace has made Honeywell a valued NSBE partner.
